The KKK comes to town...

I was jolted back into culture shock when the KKK came to visit today...sans the white, pointy hats but still intriguing nonetheless. As it turned out, only a few of them came to protest and left after only 20 minutes. They were greeted by about 300 counter protesters.  Check out the article here

A Rare Snowfall

People love the snow here... because they never see it. I looked out the window and watched all of my happy neighbors taking pictures, having snowball fights and building snowmen. Then I remembered that I don't have to be a grumpy northerner who is supposed to despise the snow cause I live in the south! So I went outside to join them. After all, it's been awhile since I've had to put on my boots and scrape snow off of my car.


Actually, I didn't even have to scrape my car off because it melted so fast. The following day I discovered remnants of the previous day's excitement.
